John K. Tsai, MD
John K. Tsai, MD was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.

He began his medical education in Chicago after accepting entrance into Northwestern University's 7-year Honors Program in Medical Education where he graduated with honors.

Dr. Tsai completed his internship and residency in Internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell in New York City. He was then chosen from his residency class as the Chief Medical Resident at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Tsai stayed on at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center where he completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

Dr. Tsai's professional interests include colorectal cancer prevention, the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and Barrett's esophagus, liver diseases and advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

He is a member of multiple medical societies and Board Certified in Gastroenterology and currently the Chief of Gastroenterology at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Tsai has also been named one of Tucson Lifestyle Magazine's "Top Doctors " as well as a "Best Doctor" in the Best Doctors in America database.
